Dispatched by Luzerne county Communications Center for a 2 car crash at Broad and Lincoln St. C-2, engine 3 and Medic 11 responded and arrive on scene with two cars in roadway. One vehicle had heavy driver side impact damage. The driver and rear passenger were injured. Crews used a hydraulic combination tool to pop the driver side doors to help gain access to the rear passenger who was a small child with multiple facial injuries and both his legs were trapped by the front seat. He was freed and transfered to medic 11. A total of 5 people were transported to the hospital . The child was taken to GWV by ground.
