At 4:37 am Hazleton fire department was dispatched to Broad and Vine st, for a gas leak with fire. Crews from North East Signal were using a saw to cut the roadway to install pipe for the traffic signals when they hit a gas line. There were no injuries. Hazleton fire crews stood by while the leak was repaired. Units on the scene Hazleton Fire, Police, and UGI were on scene.
