Hazleton City Firefighters IAFF Local 507 conducted a Flap Jack Fundraiser at the Applebee’s restaurant Saturday April 9, 2011. The purpose of the fundraiser was to raise much needed money to support the American Red Cross Hazleton Chapter’s disaster relief fund which was reduced hard due to all the areas resent fires. The union members served the patrons, bused the tables, and did the dishes on their own time to help give back to their community they help protect and serve. A total of $1542.00 was raised and turned over to the Red Cross Hazleton. John & Elaine Kyte were the greeters and were there to receive the donation.

The union would like to express thanks to all who have helped and or supported this badly needed fundraiser, with out your support we could not have made it the great success it was.
